Meet the Elliott Bridgman team

Mark Bridgman

Director/Solicitor

Mark is the Director of this Firm and also a Senior Solicitor here at Elliott Bridgman.

Mark has over 30 year’s experience in a variety of areas of Law including Private and Public Family Law, Mental Health Law, Criminal Law and Private Client matters.

Mark now specialises in Private Client and Civil matters including general litigation, debt recovery and boundary disputes for both individuals and companies.

Mark qualified as a Solicitor in 1983 after obtaining his Law degree from Warwick University.

Mark then went on to obtain his Masters in Mental Health Law in 2004 and to qualify as a Notary Public.

Marks particular strength is a willingness to undertake bespoke issues for clients that are not mainstream legal matters and to think flexibly.

Mark is accredited by the Law Society’s Children Panel, Solicitors for the Elderly and is also a Notary Public of many years.

Amy Davies

Legal Assistant

Commercial Property Caseworker

Amy is Head of our Commercial Property Department and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in different areas of law having worked for the Firm for over 17 years.

Amy specialises in Commercial Property matters including:

  • Commercial sales purchases and mortgages
  • Leases – for Landlord or Tenant
  • Company sales, purchases and acquisitions

In addition to Commercial Property matters Amy is experienced in assisting clients with the following matters: –

  • Landlord and Tenant disputes
  • Possession proceedings
  • Property/Boundary disputes
  • Civil claims
  • Amy has a Professional Diploma in Law and Practice and is a Graduate Member of the Institute of Chartered Legal Executives. She has completed a Higher Diploma in Land Law, Landlord and Tenant, Company Law and Conveyancing Practice.

    Amy prides herself on providing a bespoke service with client satisfaction being at the forefront of what she does.

Anna Newling-Goode

Conveyancer

Residential Conveyancing department

Anna is Head of our Conveyancing Department and has over 18 years’ experience working within the Residential Property market. Anna has helped thousands of individuals and families buy and sell their property and prides herself on the high level of customer service provided to our clients.

Anna specialises in all Residential Property matters including:

  • Sale, purchase and remortgages transactions
  • Right to Buy purchases
  • Transfer of Equity
  • Equity release
  • Deeds of easements and rights of way
  • Adverse possession

Anna has a Professional Diploma in Law and is an Associate Member of the Institute for Chartered Legal Executives. She has also completed with a distinction award several Professional Development courses in Land Law and Conveyancing.

Beth Tutchener-Ellis

Solicitor

Manager of Family Law Department

Beth Tutchener-Ellis – Head of Private Family Law Department.

Beth has over 20 years’ experience in family law working primarily in that field. During that time Beth has helped thousands of families and individuals.

Beth qualified as a Solicitor in 2000 after having gained a Law Degree and a Commendation in the Post Graduate Legal Practice Course. Beth initially worked in the Staffordshire area before returning to Shropshire where she grew up and now lives.

Beth handles family cases covering a wide range of issues such as:

  • Public Law Care Cases
  • Private Law Children matters
  • Financial matters
  • Divorce
  • Domestic Violence
  • Cohabitation Agreements
  • Separation Issues and Deeds
  • Pre-Nuptial Agreements
  • Change of Name Deeds for Adults and Children

Beth works hard to achieve good results for her client and prides herself on her approachable manner.

Beth is also helping people with Education Law issues and can assist clients when necessary.

Jo Foulkes

FINANCE / Practice Manager

Jo originally joined the practice as Accounts & Office Manager in 1996 having spent her career training within Accountancy Firms in Telford and Stafford.

She joined Elliot Bridgman within its first few years of trading so has experienced the growth and development of the practice first hand.

She left the practice in 2010 to pursue other opportunities, but returned to the role at the Madeley office in May 2015.
